Dance Academy
Allison began her dance career at 3 years old at a small recreational studio in Auburn, Indiana and soon realized that dance was her passion. She then trained at the Fort Wayne Ballet for 7 years up to the pre-professional level, training intensively for 30+ hours per week with professional instructors who performed on Broadway and with prestigious ballet companies across the country. Allison practiced many forms of ballet including the Cecchetti Method, the Vaganova Method, and French Technique. She supplemented her ballet training at Richmond Ballet’s Summer Intensive Program.
At 16, she left Fort Wayne Ballet to continue her ballet training through Grant Training Program in Fort Wayne. She decided to expand her experience as a dancer by joining Ratio Dance, a 35x National Champion competition dance studio. Through her experience as a dancer, Allison developed the dream of bringing an accessible, quality studio to her own hometown of Antwerp, Ohio and now as a 2023 graduate, she is making that dream a reality. She is bringing her full repertoire of experience and training in ballet, modern, jazz, musical theater, lyrical, tap, and contemporary to Ignite Dance Academy to make it a dance studio unlike any other in the area.
