Art of Movement Dance Studio is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where dancers of all skill and experience levels can explore and enjoy this beautiful artform. Our instructors educate, encourage and challenge students, inspiring confidence and growth.
We believe that while students come to learn dance, they leave with so much more. Self-discipline, hard work and improved confidence are some of the many life lessons we work to teach students through dance.
Our facility includes two studios, allowing us the flexibility and space to accommodate a variety of dance styles and class times. Studio 1 is designed for larger classes, and studio 2 is available for smaller classes, as well as private lessons.
Emily Eschhofen is the owner and artistic director at Art of Movement Dance Studio. Emily grew up dancing, studying jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet and pointe. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University where she studied dance and studio management.
Emily has experience teaching both adults and children in studios throughout northwest Ohio. She has also served as a choreographer for various dance and performing arts events, including the Fountain City Festival.
In addition to her education and experience, Emily has studied at well-known intensives and workshops throughout the country. She is a level-one certified instructor of the Giordano Dance Technique, RYT-200 certified yoga instructor, and yin yoga certified instructor.
When she’s not at the studio, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, Nick, and children, Joseph, Annalee, and Abigail. The family is proud to call Bryan home and feels blessed to share their passion for dance and performing arts with the community.
