Over 20 years ago, I made the decision to start Vista Springs because of my own continuum of care experience with my mother. Growing up in Ohio and now living in Michigan, I knew the Midwest, with its neighborly values and small-town sensibilities, was where I wanted Vista Springs to be born and founded.
In fact, my mother ended up living in various types of senior living communities, progressing through home health agencies, catered living, rehabilitation, active adult living, chronic care management, falls, surgeries, recoveries, dementia care, and finally, palliative and hospice care. My mother’s healthcare experiences, which were filled with many ups and downs, gave me the perspective, strength, and insights that formed the very foundation and basis for our Vista Springs purpose-driven mission.
Surrounding myself with an entire team of highly experienced servant-leaders, together, we have been able to partner closely with medical professionals to provide integrative healthcare solutions to optimally support our seniors and their families throughout their own personal healthcare journeys with compassion, understanding, and empathy.
From inception on, it’s been my personal mission to be closely involved with all 6 of our award-winning upscale luxury senior living resort-style communities, which is why Vista Springs remains veteran and family-owned and operated. This allows me to make time each day to support and oversee our day-to-day operations, visit communities, connect with our community members and their families, and attend community events.
The joy I and others have experienced over the years – through this pursuit and creation of a mission-driven, purpose-filled organization – is the true embodiment of the Vista Springs “Full of Life” brand promise and commitment we make each day to delivering exceptional services and life-enhancing experiences for everyone we feel honored and privileged to serve.
Our brand promise continues to extend far beyond providing 5 Diamond care services, as Vista Springs has been entirely centered around the creation of “Full of Life” experiences, encompassing a full spectrum of community through sharing in Vistalicious gourmet cuisines and active life experiences with our neighbors, friends, and loved ones.
