In November of 1977, at just 27 years old, Dr. John Hudec took a risk and opened his first dental practice on Pearl Road in Cleveland. At the time, he was the sole practitioner, serving as the dentist, hygienist, assistant, and office manager, waiting for his first patient to walk through the door.

Reflecting on those early days, Dr. Hudec remembers that people took a chance on him—a young, unknown dentist—and that experience has shaped his approach ever since. He never forgot the importance of meeting patient needs, striving to make their experience better every step of the way.

From the beginning, he focused on doing the little things right, believing that taking care of the basics would lay a strong foundation for the future. His philosophy is to treat each patient, whether they’re two or 92, with the same care.

Hudec Dental has grown significantly since then, but Dr. Hudec’s guiding principle remains the same: “One patient, one priority.” As the practice expands, including new locations in the Youngstown area, the commitment to providing personalized, high-quality care remains the same.
