The Independent American Party is made up of a family of patriots who stand on the same foundation of faith that our Founding Fathers did. It has been the position of many in the organization that the political party system was the problem and yet we still participated in it. In 1998 the Independent American Party had outgrown its humble origins of a state party and became a national party. The IAP gained traction quickly but ran into roadblocks put in place by the government to prevent third parties from competing. Good ideas, visions, and hard work were not enough to overcome the legislative hurdles in all 50 states to even become a state party. National recognition was not enough in itself.
While apathy, pandemics, and death caused major disruptions in our national way of life it also decimated the ranks of our leadership and direction. In February of 2023 the remaining members of the IAP were invited to attend the National Conference and choose new leadership and start the process of reorganization. Washington State Coordinator Lonny Ray Williams was selected as National Chairman. Lonny Ray’s bold leadership style, common sense approach, focus on the family, and experience was what the IAP needed.

Please also register as an IAP member in your STATE by contacting your local county clerk’s office or online at RockTheVote.com. The Party need not be on the ballot in your state. Simply list “Independent American Party” in your registration information.
