If you’ve clicked your way to this website, you’re probably in the business of helping children. Maybe you own a clinic that provides applied behavior analysis, maybe you have a school for kids with special needs, perhaps you own a Montessori school or an outstanding independent school, or – possibly, you’re hoping to create a business that serves children and families. I’m John McLaughlin, and McLaughlin Advisors exists to help businesses that help children.
As a listener and advisor to owners of ABA clinics and special education and private schools, I put my extensive experience – as a school founder, tenured professor, publisher of The Education Industry Report, researcher, author, managing director of a ten clinic ABA business in Dallas-Fort Worth, and as a government relations specialist and acquisition executive for a number of companies – at their disposal. More than anything, I hope my clients find me a knowledgeable and safe place to address challenges and benefit from my experience as they consider the future of their business.
I am fortunate to work with talented and grounded people (The Team) on an as needed basis who are experts in valuation, ABA, communications and marketing, research and policy analysis, and investment banking. These people, with whom I have worked anywhere from 10 to 30 years, greatly expand McLaughlin Advisors’ ability to help our clients.
