Encompass’ team of electrical engineers were able to work with partners Eitri Foundry, to design a suitable interconnection point between the 1.1 MW solar array and the local utility distribution lines. The project which is forecasted to save the school over $1M over the project lifetime, was commissioned on time in May of 2020.

Encompass Engineers worked with Eitri Foundry to implement an auto-reclosing feature at the system’s point of interconnection that complies with local regulations and minimizes system downtime.
