Cook, Smith & Company CPA’s, LLC was originally started as a sole proprietorship by Rodney Cook in 1992. In 1994 Steve Smith joined Rodney and the firm became Cook, Smith & Company and moved to a building they purchased at 119 West Main Street in Bellevue.
In 2000 Rodney and Steve purchased the practice of W. Val Schmidt, CPA. Val had been practicing as a public accountant for over 50 years. With the expansion and addition of employees, the two offices were combined in 2001 at the office’s current location of 1355 West Main St., Suite B in Bellevue.
The firm offers a wide range of accounting and tax services to individuals and businesses.
